French Kiss for Hire by Amanda Lance, Lizzy Ford, Nikki Jefford, Nana Malone, Morgan Wylie, Amanda Askel & GIVEAWAY

Sensitive and sexy Frenchman, Luc Du’mont, is living the American dream. He’s spent the last four years at University on an acting scholarship. Now he’s graduated and ready to make his big Hollywood splash.

A debut that has to happen before his student visa expires in two months. Otherwise, he’ll be shipped home to France and all of his acting opportunities will sail with him.
But most importantly, he’ll lose any chance at winning Serena Dawson’s heart. The sister of his roommate, blond-bombshell Serena is strictly off limits. Which is fine since she’s clearly put him in the friend zone anyway. When Serena approaches Luc for kissing advice, what can Luc say other than pucker up?

But the kiss leads to much more than Luc ever imagined. When word gets out about Luc’s lip-locking skills and his unemployment leads him to desperate measures, Luc finds himself with a new career path: French Kiss for Hire.

Except the only client he wants is the one girl he can’t have.

My Thoughts…

I had no clue what I was getting into when Heather Hildenbrand asked me if I would like to read this book by a collection of authors.    Of course, I said yes.   This is not what I expected.    First it was short.    Don’t get me wrong, I love a good novella.  Second it was a different style than Heather’s other books.     I contribute that to the fact that other authors worked together for this story.

The fact that it was a shorter story threw me for a loop.   Yet, I felt like I could get to know the characters and relate to them.   I cared what would happen to Luc.  I don’t want him to have to head back to France.   He is trying to follow a dream and it is not easy.    I also loved the friendship between Luc and Ben.    These two are roommate but really are more like brothers.

The storyline is different.    Who ask a friend to kiss them just because their current boyfriend says they are not good at it?  To me that sounds like a bad boyfriend.    Luc is a good friend who I think is in way over his head with Ben’s sister.

I love that each part of this story will be written by a different author.   Therefore you will get a different spin on the characters and story and possibly a different writing style.     I can’t wait to see what is coming next and by who.
